TOOLS AND MATERIALS

Design Master Sprays - COLORTOOL Spray Blue Marlin, Fuchsia, Flat Black,Metallic Sprays Copper, Brilliant Gold - black plastic pot, sea sponge, small dish of water with dish soap, paper towel

TECHNIQUE

  1. Using the sponge work up soap solution into thick suds and dab suds onto pot surface in a band around the pot.
  2. Immediately spray Brilliant Gold over sponged area then dab off moisture with paper towel. The soaped areas resist the color to create a unique organic pattern.
  3. Repeat previous two steps with each of the remaining colors, except black.
  4. Spraying approx. 15” from the surface, mist Flat Black near the top and bottom edges of color band to blend into pot. Let dry.
Project Tip: Repeat the soaping steps with any of the colors to get the blending affect you desire. For extra protection to finish, top coat with Clear Finish Matte.
